Agenda:
  • Brandie went over the Board members, Vacancies 11th grade rep, 10th grade rep & grant, Harriett School rep to communicate between admin & PTO.
  • Dana to help with 11th grade as well. Melanie would like to work with events, 
  • Open house fundraiser broke even pretty much, sold t-shirts 

$297 sold 25 tumblers $125

  • Current fundraiser goal - basketball goals estimate $1000, picnic shelter with picnic tables, Volleyball nets
  • T-shirt contest pics to be sent to homeroom teachers or pto email
  • Communication with admin - collect requests from parents, and questions, events, etc…
  • PTO Brandie/Tyra to attend board meetings
  • PTO communication (committee make their own decisions) use group me app maybe for board communications
  • Chevy back to school program - Tyra received the emails
  • Greg & Mary requested, design w price sheet for deciding on funds
  • Request to admin - Honors society, recognition for students, student council, 
  • PTO - Boulder - senior spirit on one side, with school eagle on other side
  • PTO - Upcoming events, winter dance January, junior prom - 23 11th graders
  • Is there a PTO List of underprivileged/low income families where ppl can donate anonymously
  • Enlist underclassmen with a prom committee etc…
  • Ideas for fundraisers - holiday card with free candy grams - maybe grade level to raise $$ juniors, yard sale at the school spot for $35 2 spots for $50 pick a rain date, DECA, prom committee can have a booth and not pay, silent auction ex each class makes a basket 50% went to staff or 50% to PTO,  Rebecca suggested craft fair instead of yard sale.
  • Dana came up with the idea - donation letters (Big business type letter)** to be sent to all parents/reaching out for possible services/businesses/confidential for supporting
  • Haley - $4,231.53 minus checks. Deca $483.07 PTO $3748.48
  • Name tags with title for next week's meeting - 
  • Bring up to admin - Student id’s, CCP students get id at the campus
  • Teacher appreciation committee, thanksgiving, xmas and teacher app week - snacks/meal 
  • Greg suggested, Back fence. Trash comes in and wanderers to sell advertising space to cover that area
  • Jackie - set up a CCA carpooler facebook page - we are not responsible but giving a platform for parents
  • Jackie add board pto contact list to all on minutes page

Next Steps:

Tyra/Haley to work on tax free status;
